Bruce Palmer Retires After 42 Years

After over forty years of dedicated service to The McGregor Company Bruce Palmer will be hanging up his spurs.

Bruce joined our team as a serviceman and worked his way up to eventually manage our Colfax location. Bruce’s next role with TMC was the one where his impact was most widely felt. As Research Agronomist Bruce developed an encyclopedic knowledge of every pest, disease, management practice, tank mix and active ingredient. Bruce assisted growers and teammates across the PNW in solving tough challenges, helped them be good stewards of the tools at their disposal and in improving production and their profitability. Bruce helped launch the careers of many of our account managers and other leaders as well. Bruce’s impact on our industry and our company has truly been extraordinary as the following article from Crops & Soils Magazine exemplifies. Bruce will be sorely missed but we wish him well and our organization is truly in his debt.  - Ian McGregor
